and lapidaries to produce the finest possible product. The Gemstone
district in San Carlos is host to the world's largest deposit
of Peridot in addition to numerous other stone types. The current
Reservation spans 1.86 million acres of desert, plateau, and forested
lands. Apache Peridot is one of the many gemstones keeping our
people working and close to the land. Mineral collection is limited
to members of the Apache Nation.
